PCOM was formed on February 17, 2004 out of a need for a high quality, affordable industry specific software solution for small businesses. Prior to forming PCOM, our designers developed custom business applications including applications for banking, business invoicing, service scheduling and routing and musical library archival. All of our custom applications have been upgraded over the years and are still in use today. PCOM's staff have been developing software since 1989 and have over 20 years experience developing business software.
BitBeater, our dealer management system software (DMS) for used car dealers began development in April of 2003. The initial project design goals were to create an affordable DMS for used car inventory software solution providing support for car lot management, sales, buy here pay here, inventory and record keeping. The program was developed with extensive input, testing and support of car dealers. PCOM works closely with it's used car dealer advisory panel to continue to enhance BitBeater features. The BitBeater framework and engine has been tested with up to eight users accessing in excess of 250,000 records.
